Agnosticism

Agnosticism is the belief that we can't know whether or not God exists or what God is like. Clarence Darrow, American lawyer, said, "I do not pretend to know. That is all that agnosticism means."

If you're an agnostic, then you probably don't believe in God, but that doesn't mean you believe that there is no God.

You just don't know, and you don't need to know, or to take a stand about God's existence, one way or the other.
